I love using presses for whole leaf tea. The clear glass and maximum room for the expansion of the leaves makes for optimum infusions for taste and aesthetics. I love the more traditional and ceremonial accoutrements as well, like gaiwans and clay tea pots, but this is the method I use multiple times a day at home when I'm making tea. It's especially captivating to watch a tea like Jade Earrings unfold in all its majesty.
